BUENA VISTA-BETHEL SPECIAL UTILITY DISTRICT ANNOUNCES WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS

Waxahachie, Texas (July 2019):  Buena Vista-Bethel SUD announces the closing of $3,410,000 of Water System Revenue Bonds, Series 2019. The bond proceeds will be utilized for water well and water main improvements. The infrastructure improvements are being implemented immediately with completion estimated in the fall. Joe Buchanan, General Manager of Buena Vista-Bethel Special Utility District, stated: “This much-needed project will increase water quality for every citizen.”

The project engineering and designs are being provided by Childress Engineering Services. Naman, Howell, Smith & Lee, PLLC served as bond counsel in connection with the project. Additionally, Government Capital Securities Corporation (GCSC) who has represented the district since 2017, served as Financial Advisor in connection with the issuance of the Water System Revenue Bonds.
