Meet The Team

Ted Christensen, GCSC President is a graduate of the University of California at Davis and a former USAF fighter pilot. Ted joined GCSC in June 2003 and quickly helped build the company into a municipal advisor to issuers across the state of Texas. Ted holds Series 50 and 54 licenses.

D’Anne Carson, GCSC Vice President is a graduate of the University of Houston. D’Anne possesses years of municipal bond and municipal advisory experience. D’Anne holds a Series 50 license.

Wendy Dolan, GCSC Director of Client Services, manages our municipal clients’ post bond issuance reporting and state debt transparency reporting requirements. Wendy also assists Underwriter’s Counsel with Official Statement preparation. Wendy is a non-municipal advisor.

Dr. David Faltys is a graduate of Texas A&M University where he earned his doctorate. Dr. Faltys retired as the Superintendent at Southlake Carroll ISD after fifteen years where his leadership earned the district state and national recognition for student performance, including winning the Lone Star Cup seven times. During Dr. Faltys’ tenure CISD earned the state’s top Superior Rating on the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) every year. He also oversaw three bond elections ($371M) to update and construct new facilities districtwide. Prior to Carroll, Dr. Faltys was a teacher, coach, high school principal and superintendent at Navasota ISD. Dr. Faltys holds a Series 50 license.

Ed King, GCSC Municipal Advisor and Senior Vice President with Government Capital Corporation (GCC) is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington. Ed works with issuers across Texas, with a special emphasis in energy management projects. In addition to assisting issuers with traditional finance structures, Ed also has extensive knowledge in Federal Tax Credit programs. Ed holds a Series 50 license.

Jake Lawrence, GCSC Vice President is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. Jake covers all of north and west Texas acting as a Municipal Advisor to school districts and other issuers. Jake holds a Series 50 license.

Kevin Lerner, GCSC Municipal Advisor and Senior Vice President with Government Capital Corporation (GCC) is a graduate of Midwestern State University. Kevin works with issuers across Texas, with a special emphasis in energy management projects. In addition to assisting issuers with traditional finance structures, Kevin also has extensive knowledge in Federal Tax Credit programs. Kevin holds a Series 50 license.

Gail Robertson, GCSC Vice President, is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and Hamline University School of Law. Gail has over 20 years of experience in public finance including a specialization in post-issuance compliance. She also held managerial positions with nationally recognized public accounting and consulting firms where she provided arbitrage compliance and escrow verification services on a national level. Gail holds Series 50 and 54 licenses.

Zac Saldi, GCSC Municipal Advisor and employee with Government Capital Corporation (GCC) is a graduate of Texas State University. Zac specializes in private placements, credit underwriting along with both traditional and complex financing structures for municipal issuers. Zac holds a Series 50 license.

Wade Thompson, GCSC Vice President is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. Wade possesses over 25 years of experience servicing Texas Schools and Municipalities. As a previous Municipal Advisor, Wade lead or assisted on financings totaling over $1 billion. Additionally, Wade was the North Texas Director of the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative. Wade holds a Series 50 license.

Drew Whitington, GCSC Municipal Advisor and Vice President with Government Capital Corporation (GCC), is a graduate of the University of North Texas. Drew serves issuers across the State of Texas, with a special emphasis on Texas Cities and Texas Counties. Drew holds a Series 50 license.
